Jen and I love to read. We started reading with the kids from pretty much the day they came home from the hospital. While Taylor has grown out of it, the boys are still very much interested in the hour and a half that we spend each night reading together. Jen and I take turns reading different books. It lets us satisfy that old theater bug with a very exclusive audience.

So we are approaching the garage as a piece-by-piece project. I put up a couple of sheets of sheetrock and bought some track/hooks to put the bikes up and out of the way. One corner at a time…we’ll see how long this thing takes…

So I decided to start growing out the beard for a bit. Interesting bits of gray creeping in since the last time I grew it out…

Too many of my days begin with regular meetings. This is the conference room where we have our weekly business meeting for the college IT staff.

Pretty aggressive storms the past few days in Charlotte. They follow the late summer trend here–super hot and muggy all day, then huge downpours in the afternoon/evening. This one was funky because of the blue sky accompanying the heavy rain.
